This 8 week Mindfulness Course is only for Healthcare Professionals which gives it a unique and collaborative feel. The mindfulness course incorporates elements of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Each week we will be working through different themes together using breakout rooms, teaching from Chris, and interaction and exploration from yourselves.
This course is delivered by Chris Finn, who has trained with The Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. Chris is a Clinical Lecturer in Psychology and Mindfulness, and an accredited Senior Psychotherapist, Supervisor and experienced Mindfulness Teacher. Chris has worked in senior positions in the NHS and has worked with thousands of patients and healthcare professionals in his clinical career. He now specialises in helping other healthcare professionals enhance their existing skillset.

The course includes eight weekly group sessions and the cost also includes:
- Full 80 page course handbook covering what's been taught in the sessions with extra material to support you
- Recordings to take away each week for home practice
- Bonus videos to watch in-between the taught sessions
- Guidance on how to practice during the week
- Several Micro-mindfulness practices
- Email support in-between sessions
- A one to one via Zoom, in-between sessions to answer any questions you have or tackle any specific struggles
- Certificate of completion
The groups are online using Zoom and are held in a supportive environment.
Each session will run from 18:00 - 19:00, except for the first session which will be 18:00 - 19:30. If there are any you can’t do, you can catch up with the Zoom recording.
